As a member of the Regional heart Network, Corry Memorial Hospital is equipped with telemedicine technology for immediate consultations with cardiologists at St. Vincent Heart Center. Digital images are transmitted electronically over phone lines. When local doctors need to consult a heart specialist, they are able to send digital images from echocardiograms, EKGs and other tests directly to the Saint Vincent Heart Center where a cardiologist or cardiothoracic surgeon views it on-screen and makes recommendations over the phone.

The Regional Heart Network provides opportunities to improve the level of heart care, giving patients the benefits of advanced technology without leaving the Corry area.
