M.R.I. (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

MRIThis capability is available at Corry Memorial Hospital. An MRI enables physicians to produce images of the internal human body with amazing clarity.

MRI exams are non-invasive procedures that offer advantages over diagnostic alternatives. The scanner uses radio waves instead of ionizing radiation to produce the detailed images, and, in most cases, does not require injecting any chemical tracers into the body. The exam often takes less than one hour.
